Game Master/Actor

Trapped Toledo is an interactive real life escape/puzzle room. Groups, work teams and families enter challenging puzzle rooms and have 60 minutes to solve the puzzles to complete the challenge. You will help provide this unique experience to all of our customers.

Responsibilities:

You are in charge of your groups enjoyment from beginning to end. Welcoming participants as they enter the building. Checking them in and facilitating signing waivers if they have not done so already. Introducing the participants to their room through backstory and rules of playing the game. Playing a role as a character in the room which through playing a role gives clues and help along the way. At other times you may monitor game play through cameras and software to provide hints as necessary. Post-game play interaction includes a quick debrief/outro, take pictures and they are on their way. You finish that journey with resetting the room. We take turn answering calls as they come in and schedule as needed. Cleaning rooms and the building as needed. The job is easy but focused on quality for our customers. During down time we design new games and puzzles to be used in future rooms/products.

Qualities we are looking for:

Likes puzzles and games Customer service experience Comfortable leading small groups and speaking to them Basic Computer skills Teachable Decision making abilities while running games Attention to detail and organized Additionally helpful skills: Theatre experience Artistic and creative Set Building or faux finishing Social Media Schedule Flexible. Looking for 5-20 hours per week
