Portland Pickles Mascot

The Portland Pickles are looking for candidates to take on various mascot roles for our 2026 season. We are looking for excited men and women 18 years or older with previous mascot experience. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and excited to interact with fans of all ages around the park located in Southeast Portland at Walker Stadium. They must be in good physical condition to wear the costumes, face high temperatures while standing, walking, running, and dancing during games. There are 50+ games this season so candidates must be available for a majority of games.

Approachable Requirements:

• Work a majority of this seasons games
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
• Must arrive at least an hour before game start
• Applicant is subject to background check

Responsibilities:

• Interact with fans throughout the game to promote teams and keep excitement up and enhance fan experience.
• Participate in pre-game ceremonies and in-game activities with strong stage presence.
• Brainstorm, and create in-game performances and fan interactions.
• Help manage various social media accounts including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
• Initiate crowd chants, cheers, and claps to keep the crowd excited during games.
• Represent our leagues professionally at all times, in and out of the costume.
• Various other duties.

Skills/Qualifications:

• No High School Diploma required.
• Must be comfortable interacting with people through nonverbal communication.
• Must work well with a team.
• Positive attitude.
• Must be creative and adaptable in all aspects of the job.
