Role:
  • We are seeking a talented Packaging Production Designer to become a pivotal part of a global creative team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming innovative ideas into tangible, production-ready packaging solutions that captivate audiences and uphold the brand's reputation for excellence. You'll lead creative collaborations, manage diverse projects, and ensure every design detail reflects the brand's unique ethos, directly influencing how products are perceived and experienced worldwide.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Concept, design, and develop packaging and component solutions for a leading beauty brand, guiding projects from initial sketches and material selection through to final production-ready artwork.
  • Lead creative collaboration with marketing, product development, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are executable and perfectly aligned with brand objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently within a fast-paced and evolving creative environment.
  • Create precise production-ready artwork for both primary and secondary packaging, adhering strictly to established brand guidelines.
  • Oversee all creative packaging assets and communication, organizing and maintaining comprehensive libraries of assets and design files with appropriate naming conventions for storage and archiving, including fonts, icons, images, templates, and tutorials.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting thorough research and competitive analysis, contributing fresh content ideas and strategic initiatives that drive innovation and creative excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors and production partners to refine designs, ensuring exceptional quality and feasibility for manufacturing.
  • Qualifications:
  • Must-Have:
  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a packaging designer.
  • Experience with market research and product placement advertising.
  • Proficiency in web development, digital marketing, and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within established brand guidelines.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, along with Figma.
  • Expertise in Mac/System software, with basic Mac/PC compatibility troubleshooting skills.
  • Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience within the beauty and/or luxury industry.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Compensation:
  • The target hiring compensation for this role is $58.80/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
