5/26/2026 11:59 PM Eastern Description This position serves as a videographer and digital media editor, but also contributes to posting recorded content to various web platforms. In this capacity, the Specialist maintains and enhances New College of Florida's overall web presence, including NCF.edu and other social media platforms. The position requires knowledge and ability to work with WordPress and will support the College's brand identity to all aspects of web and social media properties, including external sites managed for New College programs by third parties. Designed as a three-year project, this grant consists of over one hundred hours of seminars, conference, and interviews, all of which will be simulcast and digitally recorded.Examples of Duties Broadcast Production & Livestreaming:
Coordinate, produce, and execute livestreams for major New College events Integrate visual and audio elements such as overlays, graphics, branding, and captioning Archive and organize digital media for replay, promotional, or institutional useEvent Day Operations:
Attend campus events to oversee setup, operation, and breakdown of livestream equipment Liaise with event coordinators to ensure accurate and timely coverageWeb Design:
Work with divisions, departments and programs to enhance content, design and features for web pages Create pages for all publicly recorded grant proceedings Supports social media and multimedia content creation by contributing at each step from team-brainstorming sessions and conceptualization through final publication on the web Collaborate with the Communications team to enhance streams with creative digital content Assist with creating short-form content from livestream footage for social media or archives Transform digital media into multiple educational formats, including an online series of courses, public education videos, and social media shorts Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, communications, digital media, multimedia production, or a related field; Experience in livestreaming, digital broadcast production, or media operations; Proficiency with WordPress and Python; Familiarity with AV equipment including cameras, encoders, switchers, and microphones Strong organization skills and ability to troubleshoot under time constraints Evening and weekend availability required depending on event schedules Physical ability to lift and transport AV and broadcast equipment Occasional travel may be required for off-campus or partnered event coverage Experience with cinema-quality videography and demonstrated excellence in video editing Preferred Qualifications Experience with website construction and design Experience livestreaming public or academic events in higher education or nonprofit settings Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop ) Understanding of digital content strategy and livestream audience engagement All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
