Job Description

Web Designer & E-commerce Integration Specialist 1550 Arboretum Boulevard, Victoria, MN 55386 $24.04 - $38.47 an hour - Full-time $24.04 - $38.47 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a talented, hands-on Web Designer & E-commerce Integration Specialist to own the visual design, user experience, and data architecture of our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining multiple consumer-facing websites that represent our distinct brands across a 5-store retail footprint. A couple of the brands that will be represented include Cabin Fever Outdoors and Archery Country. The ideal candidate is a unique hybrid: you have a strong creative eye for premium web design and user interface layout, paired with the technical aptitude to manage multi-location inventory integrations and data mapping. You must possess a deep understanding of web design principles and how data flows between retail stores and online platforms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Multi-Site Web Design & UX/UI (50% of Role)
Web Design & Layout:
Own the front-end visual identity, layout, and user experience (UX) across our portfolio of websites. Ensure all sites are modern, professional, mobile-responsive, and optimized for conversions.
Multi-Brand Assets:
Maintain distinct digital identities and design ethics for our different brands. Utilize manufacturer images and data to create clean, visually compelling product layouts.
Graphic & Landing Page Creation:
Build promotional landing pages, update site banners, and continuously refine navigation pathways to ensure an intuitive shopping experience. 2. Multi-Site & Multi-Location Integration Management (30% of Role)
System Integration:
Oversee the data pipelines that connect our 5 physical retail storefronts to our multiple online platforms, ensuring stock counts sync seamlessly.
Data Mapping & Quality Control:
Troubleshoot inventory data loops, variation mismatches, and syncing errors. Ensure product data from our physical inventory maps accurately to the correct web properties.
Multi-Location Logistics:
Help structure digital fulfillment workflows so local store staff can easily pick, pack, and ship web orders from their specific locations. 3. Site Optimization & Team Collaboration (20% of Role)
Site Health & Maintenance:
Regularly audit all web properties for loading speed, broken links, correct layout rendering, and basic technical SEO improvements.
Collaborative Support:
Partner with our junior in-house marketer to provide layout guidance for email campaigns and digital promotions, ensuring a cohesive look across all channels.
Qualifications & Requirements Web Design Portfolio:
Proven professional experience designing websites. Must have a portfolio demonstrating a strong eye for clean typography, layout balance, modern user interfaces, and intuitive navigation.
Integration Experience:
Strong background in systems integration—understanding how inventory data, API endpoints, or middleware link brick-and-mortar locations to digital platforms.
Multi-Site/Multi-Location Scope:
Experience managing data or design layouts for businesses operating multiple distinct web domains or multi-store physical environments.
Technical Agility:
Fast learner when it comes to software; while specific platform experience (Shopify/Lightspeed) is a plus, the ability to quickly master new e-commerce and POS ecosystems is required.
Self-Starter Mindset:
You enjoy being the primary "doer" who handles both the creative design work and the backend troubleshooting to keep multiple web operations running smoothly.
Pay:
$24.04 - $38.47 per hour
Benefits:
