Job Description
Web Designer for a Digital Marketing Agency in Akron, Ohio We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Akron, Ohio and we are looking for a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our clients' branding and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to understand client requirements and design websites that meet their needs
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present to clients for feedback
- Design original graphics, icons, and other visual elements to enhance website aesthetics
- Develop responsive layouts that work seamlessly across different devices and browsers
- Optimize website loading speed and performance for an optimal user experience
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all designs before launch to ensure they meet design standards and client expectations
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web design
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Web Designer or similar role in a digital agency setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, technical skills, and understanding of design principles
- Proficient in using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, InVision or other prototyping tools
- Knowledge of front-end web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present designs confidently to clients
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently We offer competitive salary packages starting at $1500 per month with opportunities for growth within the company.
