Job Overview I'm hiring a Web Designer to help create and manage websites for Wirechunk's customers. This is a role for someone with experience building polished websites, strong customer skills, and the ability to stay organized across multiple active projects. You'll build and update websites on the Wirechunk platform, help move projects forward, answer customer questions, and handle support calls. This is not a software development role (no JavaScript coding is required). You must live in the U.S. Central Time Zone to qualify for this role. Responsibilities Build and update websites on the Wirechunk platform Make content, layout, and design updates across client sites Own customer questions and issues fully by phone, email, and chat Help onboard new customers and guide them through setup Translate loose customer requests into professional, completed website updates Keep projects organized and moving along Help identify what customers need and recommend the right next step Support general business operations as needed Required Skills At least 3 years of experience with HTML and CSS Experience building websites for small businesses A good eye for clean, modern web design Understanding of SEO fundamentals Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to talk with customers over video calls Ability to manage a mix of support and production work Ability to work independently and use good judgment Organized, dependable, and good at follow-through Calm under pressure and good at handling shifting priorities The Company Wirechunk is currently a small, founder-led company with one contractor and growing customer demand. We are growing quickly and plan to hire one more person by the end of this year in addition to this Web Designer role.
Pay:
$4,700.00 - $5,000.00 per month
