Web developers design and create websites. They are responsible for the look of the site. They are also responsible for the site's technical aspects, such as performance and capacity, which are measures of a website's speed and how much traffic the site can handle. They also may create content for the site.
Other responsibilities include:
Meet with their clients or management to discuss the needs of the website and the expected needs of the website's audience and plan how it should look Create and debug applications for a website Write code for the site, using programming languages such as HTML or XML Work with other team members to determine what information the site will contain Work with graphics and other designers to determine the website's layout Integrate graphics, audio, and video into the website Monitor website traffic ECraft EC2
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Hold and maintain a Secret security clearance. Bachelor's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science. 5 years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.
Salary:
the expected salary range for this position is $83,200 to $116,480 but is subjected to change.
