  • $52/hr We have an immediate opportunity for a GIS Developer with strong expertise in ArcGIS JavaScript API, React.
js, Node.js, and Python to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web-based GIS applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, GIS analysts, and backend engineering teams to deliver high-performance spatial solutions and modern enterprise web applications in an onsite environment. The candidate will be responsible for developing interactive GIS web applications using ArcGIS JavaScript API and modern front-end technologies such as React.js. Responsibilities include building reusable UI components, integrating GIS and spatial services, developing backend APIs using Node.js and Python, and optimizing application performance for large-scale geospatial datasets. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable mapping and visualization solutions. To be successful in this position, one needs to have strong hands-on experience in GIS application development along with expertise in ArcGIS technologies, JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, and spatial data processing. Candidates should possess solid understanding of geospatial concepts, map services, feature services, and enterprise GIS workflows. Experience with modern web architectures, debugging, performance optimization, and working in agile development environments is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an onsite delivery model are essential for success in this role.
