Fullstack Engineer

Job Description We are seeking backend-focused Fullstack Developers to build and scale secure, high-performance applications supporting enterprise platforms in regulated environments. This role emphasizes backend services, APIs, and system integration, while still contributing to front-end components as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices supporting distributed systems
• Build and optimize scalable application logic, data processing, and service integrations
• Contribute to front-end development as needed, with primary focus on backend functionality
• Collaborate with systems engineers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless
• integration with infrastructure and cloud environments
• Develop solutions within regulated environments (IL5, DoD-aligned, or similar), ensuring security and compliance requirements are met
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend and system-level issues
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define architecture and improve system design
• Document backend services, APIs, and system workflows

• 5+ years of experience using Java
• Ability to work across several enterprise applications and workflows to improve the overall health of the IL5 environment
• Experience using AI to optimize development workflows
• Experience within FedRamp or the public sector
