We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Web Manager to own the strategy, maintenance, and optimization of Forward Networks' digital presence. In this role, you will serve as the primary product owner for our corporate website, ensuring it is secure, functional, visually appealing, and optimized for user experience (UX) and lead generation. You will bridge the gap between creative content and technical execution, managing external vendors/developers or internal teams to deliver a seamless online experience. Key Responsibilities Web Strategy & Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company website, ensuring high availability, performance, and security Manage the website roadmap (including localization), prioritizing features, updates, and bug fixes in alignment with business goals Serve as the primary liaison between marketing stakeholders (design, demand-gen, product marketing) and other internal content contributors (HR, legal, etc.) Ensure the website complies with global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) Content & User Experience (UX) Manage the Content Management System (CMS), ensuring content is updated, accurate, and consistent with brand voice Collaborate with the content team to upload, format, and publish blogs, case studies, landing pages, and resources Conduct regular audits to identify broken links, outdated content, and opportunities for UX improvements Implement A/B tests on landing pages to improve conversion rates and user engagement Technical Oversight Manage website hosting, domain registry, and DNS configurations Work with IT to coordinate plugin updates, security patches, and core system upgrades to prevent downtime Troubleshoot technical issues (e.g., 404 errors, slow load times, mobile responsiveness) and coordinate fixes with developer Maintain basic
HTML/CSS
updates and lightweight frontend changes without developer intervention Analytics & SEO Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema markup, image optimization) to improve organic search rankings Work with Marketing Ops to build monthly dashboards for stakeholders, providing insights on traffic, behavior, and conversion metrics
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
Experience:
5-7+ years of experience managing high-traffic websites
CMS Proficiency:
Expertise in common CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Webflow, and experience managing themes/plugins; bonus points if you have managed a CMS migration project
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript; familiarity with PHP is a plus
Analytics:
Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz)
Project Management:
Experience using tools like Asana or Jira to manage web sprints and tickets

Base Salary Range:
$140,000 - $175,000 per year This range represents the low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including location, candidate experience, skills, and level. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for equity and benefits.
