Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development. 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design. Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++). Experience with frontend languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript.) Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with unit testing, agile project development, bug and change management systems with passion for engineering. Ability to provide effective technical solutions to business issues. About the job The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities Design, build, deploy, and improve elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools which may include ensuring reliable backends, building pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources, implementing responsive and User Experience (UX)-rich frontends, or enhancing performance of existing tools and services. Analyze problems and develop solutions, while identifying dependencies and resolving issues to drive implementation. Make technical contributions, including writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code (e.g., JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL). Provide subject-matter expertise and utilize comprehensive knowledge of Google's relevant technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions.
