Works with the UI/UX designer and bridges the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Translate the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application, and which is reusable. Develop content and user facing features for the companies' portfolio of web and online applications. Provide expert advice to technical and development teams on UXD and graphic design requirements across a range of projects. Contribute to the planning and management of projects, and participate in the Agile development cycle. As part of the development team, ensure all designs explore options to ensure products are best in class in terms of look, feel, functionality and behavior. Build relationships with the business stakeholders, work with web designers and developers to share best practices. Work with marketing and development teams to develop solutions for websites and online applications, working from concept to completion. Keep abreast of industry developments in online design and interpret how these would impact services from a design perspective. Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or similar field with 1-3 years experience in front end web development Implementation of SEO principles and solutions for cross-browser compatibility issues Code versioning tools such as Git, CodeCommit and Exposure to CI/CD tools and Agile development practices. Full stack web development expertise on the Amazon platform preferred
Technologies:
HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, Database (Dynamo, Mongo, or SQL), Node JS, JQuery, Vue, React, Ajax Rest API/UI integration, Gulp etc/similar packaging
AWS Development:
S3, Route 53, Cloud Front, Lambda, Dynamo DB, API Gateway and AWS Hosted delivery (preffered)
Development Tools:
WebStorm, vscode preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate complex requirements into component parts and finished product Sponsorship Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the
