PHP Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a PHP Developer to help us maintain and improve our ecommerce system and online store. We will also need you to perform other non-tech related office tasks. Responsibilities Maintain and improve our system and web store. Implement responsive designs for our website. Integrate front-end components with server-side logic using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and other front-end technologies. Design and optimize database schemas using MySQL, and write efficient SQL queries. Implement RESTful APIs for data exchange between our system and external marketplaces like eBay. Implement new features and functionalities as requested. Take and upload product pictures to the system. Label products. Run errands outside the office. Experience Proven experience in PHP development within a professional environment; familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Zend Framework is a plus. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap. Hands-on experience working with relational databases like MySQL. Experience implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party web services. Proficiency in Git. Experience working with Docker containers and/or Vagrant virtual machines. Must be bi-lingual and fluent in English & Spanish.
