Job Description
Header Overview We are seeking an experienced WordPress Web Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with WordPress development, front-end technologies, website optimization, and custom functionality development. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can build, maintain, and improve websites while ensuring excellent performance, security, and user experience. Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. Build custom WordPress themes and modify existing themes as needed. Develop and customize plugins and website functionality. Create responsive, mobile-friendly website designs. Implement and maintain WooCommerce functionality. Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts. Integrate third-party APIs, forms, payment processors, and marketing tools. Maintain website security, backups, and software updates. Collaborate with team members to implement new features and website improvements. Test websites across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes. Follow best practices for website accessibility and user experience. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with WordPress development. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience with Bootstrap and responsive web design. Knowledge of PHP and MySQL. Experience with WooCommerce. Familiarity with Elementor, Divi, or other WordPress page builders. Experience with Git and version control systems. Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations. Knowledge of website security and performance optimization. Understanding of SEO best practices. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with React or Angular. Experience with custom plugin development. Familiarity with cloud hosting environments and website deployment. Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Experience working with e-commerce websites.
