Mobile design Full Job Description About the Role As a Website Developer for Epting Events , you'll be the architect behind our digital presence. You'll design, code, and modify our suite of websites—from high-end event showcases to our e-commerce platforms—ensuring they align with our brand's reputation for excellence. You'll work closely with our creative designers and project managers to build responsive, visually stunning sites that look great on everything from a desktop to mobile. A major focus of this role is the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implementing best practices for SEO to drive business growth. You'll also be the go-to for troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring our sites are as seamless as the events we produce.
Responsibilities Develop & Deploy:
Build and maintain responsive websites ensuring they meet the specific needs of Epting Events.
Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate event concepts into technical web solutions.
Optimization:
Keep our sites fast, scalable, and optimized for SEO to ensure we're easily discoverable in the Athens and Atlanta markets.
Maintenance:
Regularly update existing sites to improve security, performance, and functionality.
E-commerce Support:
Assist in managing digital commerce flows, including Shopify apps and marketing integrations.
Troubleshooting:
Rapidly resolve bugs or display issues across various browsers and devices.
Security:
Implement and maintain protocols to protect our data and user privacy. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience in web development.
Platform Proficiency:
Proven experience building and managing sites within WordPress , Squarespace , and GoDaddy Builder .
Front-End Fundamentals:
Expert-level knowledge of
HTML5 , CSS3
, and JavaScript .
Responsive Design:
A strong understanding of how to make sites perform beautifully across all device types.
Version Control:
Familiarity with Git for maintaining code integrity.
Preferred Qualifications E-commerce Expertise:
Deep experience with Shopify (liquid, app integration, and SEO).
CRM Integration:
Experience connecting web forms and lead captures to Salesforce .
Full-Stack Familiarity:
Basic knowledge of back-end languages (Node.js, PHP) and database management (MySQL).
Accessibility:
Understanding of WCAG standards to ensure our sites are inclusive.
Digital Marketing:
Familiarity with Google Analytics , Meta Access , and tracking pixels.
Essential Skills Platform Versatility:
Ability to jump between WordPress (for complex builds), Squarespace (for aesthetic portfolios), and GoDaddy (for quick-turn projects).
Interactivity:
Using JavaScript and modern frameworks to create engaging, dynamic user interfaces.
SEO Mastery:
Ensuring our digital footprint is optimized for search engines.
Problem Solving:
A "get-it-done" attitude when it comes to technical hurdles or platform limitations.
Organization:
Keeping our digital assets and code clean and well-documented for the whole team.
