Optimizely Backend Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Optimizely Backend Engineer. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced e-commerce features within the Optimizely Commerce Cloud platform. Their work includes managing product catalogs, pricing structures, promotional campaigns, order workflows, and customer data. Day to day, 50% of their work will be focused on building new features/enhancements and 50% on maintenance support. They will also develop custom modules using C#, .NET Core, and the Optimizely framework. The Developer will integrate Optimizely Commerce with external systems such .as ERP, PIM, CRM, payment gateways, and shipping providers using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks. To add, they will manage SQL Server databases and handle cloud deployment and application management through Azure services, including App Services, Functions, SQL Database, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps. • 7+ years of experience as a backend engineer in .NET/C# web development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Optimizely Commerce/Commerce Connect and CMS
• Strong background in Optimizely Commerce, with a focus on custom implementation rather than Optimizely configure
• Strong proficiency in Optimizely Commerce architecture, including product modeling, catalog management, pricing engine, promotion engine, order system, and payment framework
• Well-versed in SQL server database
• Extensive experience with API development and integration
• Background with Azure services such as App Services, Application Insights, Key Vault, Functions, SQL Database, Blob Storage, and DevOps pipelines
• Familiar with CI/CD, Git, and Agile/scrum Great communication and collaboration skills
• Optimizely certification Experience with MongoDB
