6+ Months Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Flutter QA Engineer to support testing and quality assurance efforts for mobile applications in a fast-paced Agile environment. This individual will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure Flutter-based applications meet functional, performance, usability, and security requirements prior to release. The ideal candidate will have experience testing cross-platform mobile applications, building automated test suites, and validating integrations with payment systems and backend services. This role will play a critical part in maintaining product quality while supporting rapid delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Flutter-based mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing across Android and iOS platforms. Build and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Validate mobile application functionality, UI/UX consistency, performance, and stability across multiple device types and operating systems. Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira and other testing tools. Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely defect resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives. Support CI/CD testing processes and release validation activities. Develop testing metrics and quality reports to provide visibility into product health and release readiness. Assist with risk identification and quality improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on mobile applications. Experience testing Flutter applications across Android and iOS platforms. Strong understanding of mobile application testing methodologies and best practices. Experience creating and executing manual and automated test cases. Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Flutter Test, Integration Test, Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks. Experience working within Agile software development environments. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Experience using Jira for defect management, reporting, and test tracking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
