Technical Proficiency HTML Full Job Description SUMMARY:

Web Development We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress to design, develop, test, and maintain visually appealing and high-performing websites. This role applies usability and analytical skills to assess web effectiveness, timeliness, and accessibility and ensures that our sites are stable, well designed, effective to use, up-to-date, and properly maintained. They combine creative design sensibility with technical development capabilities to deliver user-friendly, responsive, and SEO/GEO-optimized web experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop custom WordPress websites from concept to launch Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements Build responsive, mobile-first designs with a strong focus on UX/UI Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO/SEM Proven experience with generative engine optimization (GEO) Manage website updates, backups, and security best practices Collaborate with marketing and content teams to implement site content Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and eCommerce functionality (if needed) E-commerce maintenance and development Monitors and reports web statistics and make recommendations to improve visibility and usability of website Provide input and collaborate with marketing team on lead nurturing, retargeting, geo-fencing campaigns, and other digital marketing programs

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience with WordPress development and design Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or similar) Strong understanding of responsive design principles Proven knowledge of web analytics tools Proven knowledge of SEO/GEO best practices and website optimization Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Ongoing need to stay current on trends and capabilities brought on by new and evolving web technologies Knowledge of current web design and development standards, regulations, laws and trends Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms Knowledge of website hosting environments and DNS management Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console) Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards Previous experience and/or integration with Salesforce / Pardot / Marketing Cloud a plus Experience working with a team in a collaborative or agency environment
