Job Description

Wage:
$32.00-$34.00/hr. The Front-End Developer is a team member of the ESGW IT Department. The individual designs, builds, and maintains web applications with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. This role owns UI design and styling end-to-end, contributes to selecting and standardizing on a front-end framework, and collaborates closely with teammates and stakeholders throughout development and shared deployment processes. The position helps establish clear, reusable front-end standards that support reliable delivery over time. Requirements Ability to work well in a team setting. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with co-workers. Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community. Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job. Applicant must pass DMV check. All positions require the completion of a background check. Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or, Associate degree in computer science or related field and 2-3 years of experience in front-end development or, 4+ years of experience in front-end development.
Proven experience with:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and at least one major front-end framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular). Consuming APIs and web services. Web technologies and frameworks Version control. Integrated development environments, code editors and build tools. Engineering web applications. Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
