Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT software engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions. Our team manages 12+ separate web applications using Agile/Scrum/XP methods. All have Angular as the frontend. The backend services are a mix of Python/AWS Lambda and Java/Spring. Various technologies are in play, and we are seeking to upgrade and optimize, as well as continuing to deliver new features and enhancements to all applications in our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality, fully tested solutions using Angular, Python, or Terraform with AWS infrastructure Work independently on complex projects while collaborating effectively with team members Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers Implement and promote cybersecurity and coding standards and best practices Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies Debug issues across distributed systems Create proofs of concept to demonstrate technical feasibility and innovation Recognize system flaws and document / speak up about them Work closely with team lead and product owner to help guide and achieve product vision

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in at least one of the following: Angular, Python, or Terraform + AWS services Excellent communication skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive criticism Excellent documentation skills, within code and without Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to ask questions when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Pro with Git / GitHub / GitHub Actions Pro with Java/Spring Kafka, Data Fabric experience Bash scripting experience SAST code scanning tool experience

Education:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field OR 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in lieu of a degree "Beware of scams. S3 never asks for money during its onboarding process."
