Job Description

We are looking for a Front End Developer to join a team building modern web applications in Wisconsin. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who enjoys creating responsive interfaces that improve the experience for both internal users and external customers. In this role, you will partner with technical teammates to turn design concepts into reliable front-end solutions while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of existing applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and support responsive web interfaces that deliver a smooth and user-friendly experience across enterprise applications.
  • Convert design mockups, wireframes, and user experience concepts into maintainable front-end code.
  • Develop reusable UI elements and application features using technologies such as React, Angular, or Next.js.
  • Work closely with server-side developers to connect user interfaces with APIs and application services.
  • Improve and refresh older front-end codebases to align with current usability and development standards.
  • Enhance application speed, accessibility, and cross-browser performance through thoughtful front-end optimization.
  • Investigate interface issues, resolve defects, and address performance concerns affecting the user experience.
  • Participate in peer reviews, shared development efforts, and team discussions to strengthen code quality and delivery.
  • Manage code changes and development tasks using version control and issue tracking tools.
  • Contribute to consistent front-end practices, shared components, testing activities, and deployment support across environments.
