Role Summary The Digital Analytics Lead is a senior expert who oversees web analytics and tag management for an insurance company, using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
Key Responsibilities Analytics Strategy & Leadership:
Define and lead the web analytics strategy, aligning Google and Adobe Analytics with business goals to enhance marketing and customer experience.
Tag Management & Tracking:
Manage Google Tag Manager and similar tools to ensure accurate tracking of website features and user interactions, resolving data collection issues as needed.
Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze multi-channel traffic and campaign data to uncover trends and deliver insights that improve conversion rates and user engagement.
Reporting & Dashboards:
Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker Studio to visualize KPIs and communicate the impact of digital initiatives to stakeholders.
Continuous Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the digital customer journey, support A/B testing, and recommend data-driven improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with teams across Marketing, IT, UX, and Product to implement analytics solutions and present insights in a clear, actionable format to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications Extensive Analytics Experience:
6-10 years of experience in digital analytics with deep expertise in GA4 and Adobe Analytics, driving insights from large-scale web and campaign data.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio, with the ability to manage tags, ensure data accuracy, and build custom dashboards and tracking setups.
Conversion Optimization Skills:
Strong grasp of CRO strategies, using analytics to enhance user experience and increase conversions, such as improving quote-to-policy rates.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
Adept at analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and resolving tracking or data quality issues with precision.
Communication Skills:
Capable of translating technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Education & Certifications:
Holds a relevant degree with preferred certifications in Google Analytics (GAIQ/GA4) and Adobe Analytics, demonstrating advanced platform expertise.
Preferred Experience Insurance Industry Insight:
Experience in insurance or financial services, with knowledge of customer journeys like quote-to-policy conversions and digital claims, plus familiarity with industry KPIs.
Omnichannel Analytics Integration:
Skilled in unifying data from web, mobile, and other channels using tools like Adobe Analytics or GA360 to enable comprehensive customer behavior analysis. GA4
Implementation Expertise:
Hands-on experience with GA4 setup and migration, ensuring accurate event tracking and staying updated on evolving analytics features and best practices..
Data Governance & Compliance:
