Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT). You will work as part of a team building workflows and APIs to support fund research publishing in our Wealth Advisory space, which supports our sales and portfolio strategy organization as part of our FI Wealth Management Technology area. Your experience, skills, and input will be critical to our shared success. We seek a highly motivated and collaborative individual who can apply their experience to contribute to the design and development of this platform alongside a team of talented and enthusiastic engineers. Building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Batch/Spring Web, Python (only nice to have), REST APIs, Swagger, Postgres, SQL, etc Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management is a plus Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins/Jenkins Core Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub Experience working with modern web frameworks such as Angular Experience with testing and test automation libraries/strategies such as Karate is a plus Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization Financial Services industry experience preferred but not essential
