Position Title
Frontend Developer Reports To
Head of Development Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Frontend Developer to support the development of web-based applications and interactive experiences. In this role, you will primarily build new projects using Vue.js, while occasionally working with existing React-based applications for updates or redeployments. You will be expected to contribute across multiple projects, quickly understand requirements, and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working across different technologies, is comfortable navigating varying project requirements, and can balance speed with thoughtful implementation. Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop frontend applications using Vue.js
- Work with existing React codebases to implement updates, fixes, or redeployments as needed
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
- Write clean, maintainable, and practical code
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and hardware teams to deliver high quality software
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues across varied environments and devices
- Participate in testing, iteration, and deployment processes
- Contribute to internal documentation where appropriate
Qualifications:
- 1 + years of professional experience in frontend web development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (Vue.js or React)
- Ability to learn and adapt between frameworks and technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a small team
