Salem, Oregon V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Web Developer (Word Press) for our premier client in Salem, Oregon. Education and Experience » 5+ years of professional web development experience. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries. Solid understanding of accessibility compliance and hands on implementation of

WCAG 2.1 AA.

Experience with responsive design and cross browser compatibility. Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

WordPress development experience including theme or plugin customization. Experience with PHP, MySQL, or other server-side technologies. Knowledge of REST APIs or headless CMS architecture. Experience working in a public sector or enterprise scale environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities » Strong problem-solving abilities. Detail oriented and committed to high quality work. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain websites and web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies. Build custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins (preferred). Collaborate with UX designers, content strategists, and project managers to deliver high quality user experiences. Ensure all digital content meets

accessibility standards. Optimize site performance, including load time, responsiveness, and overall reliability. Implement security best practices and support ongoing maintenance.
