Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven IT Programmer / Web Developer with experience in Sage X3, SQL databases, Crystal Reports, and web-based application development. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency through automation, reporting enhancements, ERP process development, and mobile-friendly tools for field operations. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both programming and process improvement — a developer who can identify workflow challenges and build practical, user-friendly solutions that support production, inventory, logistics, and reporting functions. Key Responsibilities ERP & Process Development (Sage X3) Develop and maintain automated processes within Sage X3 Improve and streamline production workflows from component-level tracking through full production scheduling and action steps Assist in building scalable ERP solutions that improve operational visibility and efficiency Support inventory, manufacturing, shipping, and warehouse processes through system enhancements Reporting & Data Management Build, update, and optimize SQL datasets and operational reports Clean up and improve existing reports for accuracy, usability, and functionality Develop and maintain Crystal Reports to support business operations and customer requirements Create custom reports and documents for specific customer needs Web & Mobile Tool Development Design and develop lightweight, mobile-friendly web applications that interact directly with the Sage database Create tools that simplify field operations and improve real-time data access Develop smartphone/tablet-compatible applications for: Inventory adjustments Pulling and picking operations Truck loading and logistics workflows Paperless operational processes Improve or replace outdated systems that are slow, difficult to use, or not mobile accessible Qualifications Experience with Sage X3 ERP systems preferred Strong SQL/database development skills Experience with Crystal Reports Web development experience (responsive/mobile-friendly applications) Experience integrating web tools with ERP or SQL databases Ability to analyze workflows and develop practical operational solutions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently Preferred Skills Experience with inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or production systems Knowledge of process automation and ERP optimization Familiarity with barcode, logistics, or shipping workflows Experience building tools for field/mobile users What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is not just a programmer, but a practical problem solver — someone who can work closely with operations teams to create tools and systems that make everyday tasks faster, simpler, and more efficient.
