In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions that support complex, high-volume systems. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who thrives in agile environments and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, business-critical solutions. Job Description This role is hands-on and focused on full-cycle software development, from design through testing and delivery. You will work from a prioritized product backlog and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security partners to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Develop, test, and deliver clean, maintainable code aligned with business objectives Implement features and enhancements based on user stories and product backlog priorities Participate in sizing and estimating user stories Write unit tests, create automated test scripts, and execute functional and acceptance testing Validate deliverables against defined acceptance criteria Complete required project and technical documentation Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and partner teams to ensure solutions meet business needs Follow agile software development methodologies and industry best practices Work with infrastructure, security, and platform teams to ensure system reliability and performance Qualifications Required Qualifications 5-9 years of overall software development experience 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Micronaut Experience developing, testing, and deploying backend services or APIs Strong understanding of agile development practices, including user stories and iterative development 1-3 years of experience working within an agile/Scrum environment Experience writing unit tests and automated test scripts Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams Preferred Qualifications Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments Familiarity with internal enterprise infrastructure platforms (advantageous) Experience collaborating with infrastructure, security, or DevOps teams Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Benefits Dahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family's needs.
