Digital Engineering Lead Engineer Duties:

 Provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end developers. Design and implement scalable front-end architectures that align with project goals and technical standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including back-end developers, UX designers, QA, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions. Optimize front-end code for performance and responsiveness. Evaluate and recommend modern tools, frameworks, and libraries to enhance development efficiency and user experience. Use version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) effectively to manage and track changes to the codebase. Implement security best practices to safeguard applications against common web vulnerabilities. Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and code documentation. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve front-end development practices. Travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements:

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
