About Us:
We're looking for an experienced Lead Web Developer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site work Tuesdays and Thursdays in Fall River, MA. You'll play a key role in driving the development and enhancement of our ecommerce platform, working closely with stakeholders, mentoring developers, and delivering innovative solutions that make a real impact.
Position Overview:
As a Lead Web Developer, you will participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), maintain and enhance existing code, and implement new functionality. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors while mentoring other developers, suggesting best practices, and introducing new technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead projects to improve the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our ecommerce platform. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other IT teams; drive projects and improvement activities across teams. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC). Determine operational feasibility and provide technology solutions aligned with requirements. Develop cloud-based microservice architecture integrating web, ERP, and third-party systems. Identify system issues and patterns, develop standard operating procedures, and improve system quality. Maintain, support, and upgrade existing infrastructure. Focus on unit and integration testing for quality assurance. Recommend technologies or solutions that align with business needs, while recognizing hardware limitations that may impact software design.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience with C# .NET 6/7/8 and
ASP.NET MVC 5
. Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, AppSync, SQS, SNS, EC2, ECS, and CloudWatch. Front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap . Proficiency in ReactJS/Redux and NextJS . Strong database skills with MySQL, Aurora, SQL Server , including complex queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes. Solid understanding of OOP/OOD, service-oriented architecture, and design patterns . Experience building and consuming REST APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL . Cloud-based system architecture and security expertise. Agile development experience including CI/CD and DevOps practices . Salesforce integration experience is a plus.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 10+ years of experience developing sustainable, scalable applications in the .NET framework. 8+ years' experience working with enterprise-level applications and modern ecommerce platforms. 8+ years' experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and database management. Strong hands-on experience with serverless development and cloud architecture.
