Job Description

Senior Front-End Developer, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to understand requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements for the front-end team. Plan and document comprehensive technical specifications for features or system design. Develop responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies such as React.

JS / React Native. Implement mobile-first design principles to ensure seamless experiences across various devices and platforms. Conduct code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Deploy and manage front-end applications on Azure Cloud, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Support handover team to scale front end solution at production level. Write and deliver required documentation to explain front-end logic. Optimize application performance and user experience through code optimization and performance tuning. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience. Must have three (3) years of experience with/in: Design systems, storybook and component-based architecture; Integrating design system on a front-end application via artifact repository; Cloud computing concepts, such as Azure Cloud services to deploy code and applications; CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps and GitHub; Building deployments pipelines for Azure using YML language. Front-end development and developing web applications and mobile applications; Mobile development frameworks such as React Native and Ionic; Developing solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, MUI, and CSS; Vite and Webpack builders; and Testing libraries: React Test Library, Jasmine, and Jest. Integrating APIs using REST, OpenAPI, and Redux Toolkit Query; and Excellent communication and documentation skills; Working effectively with UX/UI designers, product managers, backend engineers, machine learning engineers, cloud architects, and scrum masters to align on requirements, clarify scope, and resolve ambiguities early; and Contributing to internal wikis, design systems, or engineering playbooks to help standardize development practices across teams. Must have Azure Fundamentals certification Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.
