Our e-commerce platform is powered by Shopify Plus, and we are looking for a talented Senior Shopify Developer to join our team and help us continue to scale and innovate.

Position Summary:

The Senior Shopify Developer will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and optimization of our Shopify Plus storefront. This individual will play a key role in supporting our e-commerce growth initiatives, delivering best-in-class site performance, functionality, and user experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with deep expertise in Shopify's ecosystem and a strong understanding of the DTC business model.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and maintenance of our Shopify Plus store, ensuring scalable, performant, and reliable implementations Build custom themes, modify existing templates, and implement new features using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., eCommerce, Marketing, Creative, and IT) to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions Ensure mobile-first, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility Optimize site speed, performance, and SEO best practices Develop and maintain private and public Shopify apps where needed to support unique business processes Integrate third-party services and platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, fulfillment, analytics, etc.) Stay current with Shopify platform updates and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience and backend efficiencies Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers and contractors as needed

Qualifications:

Work with Shopify themes and customize components using Liquid. Proven experience developing frontend applications using React and Redux. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Hands-on experience with server-side rendering (SSR) in frameworks like Remix. Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and Liquid templating language. Understanding of responsive web design (RWD) and frontend performance principles. Working knowledge of Node.js for SSR and data integration. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. Understanding of SEO best practices. Experience working with GraphQL APIs. Exposure to Firebase and real-time data syncing. Knowledge of Shopify Hydrogen for headless e-commerce development. Ability to write unit and integration tests for frontend components.
