Senior Web Developer / WordPress, Next.js / Hybrid 2 days a week

A leading global technology and digital publishing organization is seeking a Senior Web Application Engineer to join their engineering team. This team is responsible for building and supporting highly scalable, mission-critical web platforms that power content delivery, memberships, eCommerce, and digital services used by professionals and organizations worldwide. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact systems in an innovative environment while helping modernize enterprise web applications. This engineering group focuses on developing custom front-end and back-end applications using modern technologies including WordPress, PHP, React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and cloud-based integrations. The team is continuing to evolve its digital ecosystem and is seeking engineers passionate about scalability, performance, accessibility, and reliability.

Hybrid Schedule:

2 days onsite per week in Los Alamitos, CA Required Skills & Experience 7-10+ years of experience building modern web applications Strong experience with WordPress or Drupal and custom PHP development Experience supporting high-traffic, enterprise-level websites and eCommerce platforms Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern UI frameworks (Tailwind is a plus) Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services Knowledge of system design, architecture patterns, and performance optimization Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead larger technical initiatives Experience in digital publishing, membership platforms, events, or nonprofit environments is a plus The Offer Competitive base salary + bonus potential Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) and comprehensive benefits package Paid Time Off and additional employee benefits Work Authorization Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future without sponsorship. #LI-SV1
