We focus on developing high-performance infrared detector technologies and related photonics products for spectroscopy, sensing, industrial, medical, scientific, and advanced instrumentation applications. We are seeking a reliable and creative Website Developer to assist with the development and launch of two separate websites over the next 2-3 months. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an innovative startup company in the advanced technology and photonics industry. This is a part-time contract opportunity ideal for someone experienced in modern website design and development who can work independently, communicate effectively, and meet project deadlines. Responsibilities Build and manage two separate company websites Collaborate on website layout, functionality, branding, and user experience Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, responsive, and professional Perform updates, troubleshooting, and testing Optimize website performance and usability Help create a modern online presence that reflects our advanced technology focus Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Experience with SEO basics and website optimization Graphic design or UI/UX experience is a plus Familiarity with integrations, forms, and CMS tools Interest or experience in technology, engineering, scientific, or startup environments is a plus Experience Experience with website development platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or similar Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Strong attention to detail and organization Portfolio or examples of previous website projects preferred
