Roles & Responsibilities:

Website Development & MaintenanceBuild, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and optimized for speed and SEO.Implement and test new features, ensuring functionality across different browsers and devices.

Customization & IntegrationsCustomize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements. Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services into WordPress.

Configure and manage WordPress hosting environments.

Quality Assurance & OptimizationConduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Maintain best practices for code quality, security, and version control (i.e., Git).Implement analytics, tracking, and reporting tools.

Collaboration & SupportWork closely with designers, content teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Support junior developers by reviewing code and sharing best practices.

Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.3-5 years of professional WordPress development experience.

Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.Understanding of SEO, accessibility (WCAG standards), and site performance optimization.

Knowledge of hosting, DNS management, and WordPress security best practices.

Experience with WordPress REST API, custom post types, and advanced custom fields (ACF) preferred.

Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks is a plus.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Eagerness to stay updated on WordPress trends and technologies.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
