Web Application Developer Description:
Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled Web Application Developer to design, develop, test, and manage application development projects for IT infrastructure. You'll work on everything from large-scale data processing to advanced analytics, supporting a forensic and investigative ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern programming languages and software architecture, with a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Web Application Developer Engineer Job Duties:
Design, build, and maintain scalable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript. Translate design wireframes and mockups into responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible web features. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure smooth data communication between front-end systems and back-end databases. Create reusable, testable Angular components and directives to increase development efficiency. Perform unit testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and code reviews to ensure application stability and security. Monitor and optimize application performance, reducing load times and improving overall user adoption. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning and Daily Stand-ups, with cross-functional product teams. Work within CI/CD pipelines and assist with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) as needed.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying and be able to pass a polygraph examination.
Experience Requirements :
Minimum of 7 years of experience in web application development. Proven track record of building and deploying applications using Angular (v10+). Strong background working with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., npm, Yarn). Demonstrated experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework. Experience integrating front-end applications with secure backend environments.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Desired Skills /
Qualifications :
Expert-level knowledge of Angular, RxJS, and NgRx (or state management alternatives). Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and
CSS3/SASS.
Tools:
Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and VS Code. Strong understanding of Section 508 compliance and web accessibility standards (WCAG). Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and secure government enclaves. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor). Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevSecOps practices. Excellent communication skills for high-level collaboration within small teams.
