Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of AI feature, model evaluation metrics, and data processing pipelines. Previous experience in a high-growth tech company or similar environment. Familiarity with open-source projects related to AI/ML or backend development. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code. Master or Ph.D. in a related field. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years in backend engineering with experience in large-scale software system design and implementation. Proficiency in languages such as Python, GoLang, or Java. Experience with distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Record of building high-quality, highly scalable backend software systems. Ability to tackle complex challenges, think critically, and deliver innovative solutions. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude, thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
