This role offers a unique opportunity to blend motion design with front-end engineering in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Design and implement interactive animations using Rive across various product surfaces. Translate motion concepts into production-ready assets while ensuring performance and scalability. Own the animation logic, including state machines and databinds within Rive. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate animations into real products. Define best practices for motion design and implementation. Build tools for designers to modify Rive files at runtime. Skills Strong front-end engineering skills, particularly in JavaScript and TypeScript. Proficiency in Rive, including experience with state machines and advanced databinds. Solid understanding of animation principles such as timing and choreography. Ability to debug and iterate on motion directly in code. Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively between design and engineering teams. Preferred Skills Experience with React, React Native, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with animation tools like After Effects. Background in building design systems or reusable motion systems.
