Job Description JUNIOR Oracle Web Administrator Location:
Ogden, UT (Hill Air Force Base Area)- Relocation Assistance Available
Security Clearance:
Interim or Active Secret Clearance Required Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle Web Administrator to support a secure government program focused on modernizing legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrating services into a new AWS Cloud environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing enterprise web environments, supporting WebLogic administration, and ensuring secure, high-availability web operations. Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside the Ogden, UT area. Responsibilities- Create and maintain internal and external websites in collaboration with development teams
- Review web content, site functionality, links, and design to ensure timely updates and enhancements
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic server environments including domains, managed servers, and clusters
- Monitor and optimize WebLogic performance through JVM tuning, connection pool configuration, and troubleshooting
- Manage WebLogic security including LDAP authentication, SSL implementation, and role-based access controls
- Deploy and maintain J2EE applications with focus on high availability, load balancing, and failover support
- Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls and encryption protocols
- Manage web infrastructure including web servers, FTP services, and mail services
- Track and analyze website performance metrics and usage data
- Conduct usability testing and recommend site improvements based on findings
- Troubleshoot usability, performance, and outage issues alongside development teams
- Communicate planned maintenance, downtime, and issue resolution updates to users and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
- Support additional web and infrastructure administration duties as needed Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience (Master's or PhD may substitute for experience)
- Interim or Active Secret Clearance required
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification required Experience with:
- Oracle WebLogic administration
- Java and J2EE fundamentals
- Linux/Unix and Windows server environments
- JVM tuning and performance optimization
- HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP/IP protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator experience/certification
- CompTIA Linux+ certification
- CompTIA A+ certification
