Teller Primary Responsibilities Greet visitors with a friendly and positive "Welcome To My Home" attitude Provide friendly service to clients and prospective clients Confidently verify a person's identity by phone and in person Answer mainline phone calls and assist clients or transfer calls as necessary Follow Standard Operating Procedures; complete all forms thoroughly Open and close the teller line Receive checks and cash for deposits; verify cash totals; examine checks for completeness and proper endorsement Cash checks and process withdrawals; verify funds availability Process loan payments Place holds on items presented for deposit as necessary Balance credits and debits through a final review of teller transactions; identify and remediate discrepancies Balance ATMs daily; fill ATM cash and remove deposits weekly Troubleshoot and address ATM out-of-service issues Balance individual cash drawer; report discrepancies to supervisor Balance cash vault, cash recycler, cash dispenser, and coin machine daily Verify currency & coin received from the Federal Reserve under dual control Process night deposits under dual control Receive requests to issue stop payment orders on checks and ACH debits Complete debit card applications; troubleshoot card-not-working inquiries Process debit card limit change requests Assist in guiding clients through debit card fraud claims Complete online banking applications; troubleshoot online access inquiries Process requests to close deposit accts Process requests regarding change of address/phone/email Issue and record Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, and Gift Cards Redeem Savings Bonds Receive, verify, and process check orders and reorders Process account verification requests Contact various vendors as necessary for assistance with software and hardware issues Other duties as assigned Work Schedule Winterset Branch Hours Monday

• Noon All shifts will extend past the closing time in order to complete end of day processing Requirements Excellent multitasking, problem solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, conflict aversion, and active listening skills Demonstrate excellent work ethic and maintain a positive work environment Exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence and social perceptiveness Interest in community banking and supporting the local community in various ways Value the 'Shop Local, Dine Local, Bank Local' mind set Sales and service aptitude utilizing a consultative approach; develop and apply knowledge of the products and services available; promote referrals Understand and comply with banking regulations by following bank policies and procedures; readily adapt to change implemented internally to ensure compliance Protect the privacy and confidentiality of bank clients, co-workers, and bank security Adhere to strict Information Technology/Information Security & Physical Security policies Comprehensive understanding of teller line and branch operations Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to learn proprietary software and use 10-key, cash & currency machines, copy/fax/scan machines, and phones Willingness to learn and take on various tasks assigned by the supervisor Ability to bend, stoop, stand, sit, walk, and use hands repetitively for prolonged periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds Ability to be outside for short periods of time year-round to service and maintenance ATMs; the Winterset kiosk ATM requires traveling off-site Pass a personal background and credit check Reports To Teller Supervisor Preferred Experience Banking Knowledge Education High school graduate
