Teller - Foreign Currency Exchange

Overview We are seeking an outgoing individual to join our dynamic team. As a Foreign Currency Exchange Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while executing and managing currency exchange sales. •The branch is located inside The Shops at Willowbend with a coming relocation to Firewheel Town Center in Garland, TX on 09/01/2026

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with basic currency exchange services Provide excellent customer service to enhance the customer experience. Process transactions accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures. Balance till the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain a balanced till and ensure all transactions are recorded properly. Research discrepancies (short or over) and provide detailed explanation or resolution in a timely manner Handle currency and other financial instruments with a high degree of accuracy & security. Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch. Follow all security procedures to protect against fraud and theft. Identify and report suspicious activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Verify customer identification and ensure all necessary documentation is completed. Maintain confidentiality of customer information Answer phone calls & general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner Refer customers to appropriate personnel for complex issues Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies. Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals & improve customer satisfaction. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills. Data entry and reconciliation tasks. Proficiency in financial software and systems, including cash handling Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict accounting and financial regulations.
