Estimated Appointment End Date (Continuous if Blank) Full/Part-Time Part time Job Type Temporary Compensation • Job Description Oklahoma Route 66 Museum Temporary-Admissions and Gift Shop Associate Typical Functions Staffs admissions desk and gift shop Handles direct sales to the public, including operation of the cash register and credit card machines, keeping merchandise stocked, priced and in order Maintain positive relations with visitors, being courteous, respectful, and exercising flexibility to best serve the public during all work activities Assists with daily cleaning tasks Gives visitors an introduction to the museum Gives guided tours as needed Assists with collections inventory and cleaning Helps present programs and special events Coordinates volunteer schedules This position does require a work schedule to include the week-end and extended hours during the summer and special events Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Equal Opportunity Employment The State of Oklahoma is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of genetic information, race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability.
