Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges Assist with product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is attractive and well-maintained Conduct upselling by recommending additional products that meet customer needs Support merchandising efforts by arranging products according to planograms and promotional plans Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels Support inventory management through stocking and inventory counts Assist with supervising team members if applicable, ensuring smooth store operations during peak times Requirements Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Experience with merchandising, stocking, or grocery store environments is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations Demonstrated phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills Supervising experience is a bonus but not mandatory; leadership qualities appreciated Flexibility to work varied shifts during the seasonal period This energetic role offers a rewarding chance to develop your retail expertise while contributing to a vibrant team environment.
