Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Tenant Relations | Assistant Manager to join our property management team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your energetic approach will foster positive relationships, resolve issues efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. You will oversee lease administration, coordinate property maintenance, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, all while supporting the overall operational excellence of our residential communities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Act as the main liaison between tenants and property management, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts promptly using effective conflict management and negotiation skills Manage lease agreements, including drafting, reviewing contracts, and ensuring adherence to legal standards such as Landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Utilize property management software to perform data entry, maintain accurate tenant records, and facilitate rent collection and lease renewals Coordinate property maintenance requests, working closely with facilities management teams to ensure timely resolution of issues Conduct regular property inspections to monitor property conditions, oversee property leasing activities Maintain compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines and Section 8 housing programs while managing tenant eligibility and documentation processes Provide exceptional customer service via phone etiquette, in-person interactions, and written communication to foster positive tenant relationships and enhance customer relationship management Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on tenant relations Strong knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8 programs, Landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures Proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel) Excellent conflict management, negotiation skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records Outstanding communication skills with proper phone etiquette and customer service orientation This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to contribute to vibrant communities while advancing their career in property management. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
