Test & Solder Supervisor Located in Batavia, Ohio Summary Provide technical support for electronic testing operations while ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements. Support continuous improvement, quality workmanship, and on-time delivery. Collaborate with downstream process cells as internal customers and support overall production efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level using schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings. Test and troubleshoot PCB assemblies and associated test stations using customer-provided documentation. Operate electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, frequency counters, and multimeters. Set up and maintain test stations according to established test procedures and documentation. Review and follow detailed test procedures; communicate discrepancies to Documentation, Program, and Quality Management. Train operators on proper testing methods and procedures as needed. Support production schedules to meet or exceed customer delivery requirements. Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and reduce cycle times. Provide technical support across production operations. Maintain control and calibration status of all test equipment used in the test area, including customer-owned equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform additional duties as assigned. Interpersonal Skills Takes ownership of work quality and accuracy. Communicates quality or process concerns to management. Contributes ideas for process improvements and operational efficiency.Qualifications Education:
Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of electronics testing and troubleshooting experience required. Physical and Cognitive Requirements Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent interaction with others. Requires prolonged standing and sitting, along with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. Strong manual dexterity required for handling and assembling small electronic components. Good vision and attention to detail are necessary for inspection and testing tasks. Occasional lifting may be required. Equipment Knowledge Experience using advanced electronic test and diagnostic equipment is required. Work Environment Work is performed in and around active production areas.Pay:
