JOB SUMMARY

The primary duty is to ensure that products perform their proposed functions as designed in a satisfactory manner in accordance with instructions, specifications, quality policies, and standards. Also, sets up and operates testing equipment, which shall include but is not limited to push\pull testing, and other related equipment necessary to perform products Test. Must be able to understand test plans and follow procedures. Job requires proficiency in operating of various types of valves and equipment, using lines, fittings, related components to construct test stands; perform necessary paperwork pursuant to the task. Technician is responsible for complying with applicable provisions of Health, Safety, and Environment according to SMC Employee Hand Book.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate with some college education and/or GED Certificate
• Ability to use tools, equipment, and techniques to perform tests
• Impeccable attention to details
• Ability to achieve positive results in a challenging work environment Good communication skills in both verbal and writing Ability to work in a team setting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process measurements and responsible for test results delivery
• Follow MRS and records data from testing in standard formats
• Analyze and evaluate test data according to requirements and provide results to engineering for review and acceptance
• Cooperate with products development and testing
• Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required Maintaining the integrity of test equipment keep the test area in order
• Recommend and implement improvements that help deliver the best timely solutions resulting in the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of products
• Organize and maintain test log and records
• Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry, business, and quality standards
• And, any other tasks or duties that may be required from management
