Working at IPG Photonics you can expect challenging projects, a motivating and friendly environment, and competitive benefits. Assembly & Test of opto-mechanical & Electrical assemblies to ensure compliance to defined standards.
Troubleshoot and repair opto-mechanical & Electrical assemblies using tools such as Multimeter or scopes
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to aid repair
Assists in the generation of new product or sub-assembly documentation and work instructions
Provides feedback to engineering regarding errors or omissions in existing documentation
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve issues and improve assembly procedures
Follow company standards for safety and quality control throughout the assembly process. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job. Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems (preferable 2-3 year's experience)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Experience in welding is a plus.
Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, gauges, or software based testers
Basic understanding of safety standards and compliance procedures
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in repairs, installations, or maintenance
Computer literacy for logging work orders, reviewing documentation, or using maintenance software
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently in a professional environment
Ability to lift, pull or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs. IND456
