Job Description

Job Title Testing Operations Supervisor - Automotive Vehicle Testing Overview / Summary We are seeking a Testing Operations Supervisor to co-lead a 200+ member workforce supporting vehicle durability testing, mileage accumulation, vehicle dynamics, emissions build, brake testing, safety impact, stockroom, and performance testing operations. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and a strong understanding of automotive testing, development, and certification processes. This role requires strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and operational management skills in a fast-paced testing environment. Key Responsibilities Co-lead a workforce of test drivers, stockkeepers, and mechanics in a 24/7 multi-shift operation Maintain current safety protocols and implement continuous safety improvements Ensure test vehicles are operated according to testing schedules and compliance requirements Ensure drivers and mechanics properly document vehicle issues and potential customer concerns Ensure test vehicles are properly maintained and work orders are completed in a timely manner to minimize downtime Lead ongoing process improvements and promote best practices to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale Ensure drivers are properly trained to perform durability testing activities Develop and maintain positive working relationships with drivers, mechanics, union representatives, and cross-functional management teams Support additional operational requirements, including holidays and weekends when needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of related experience Previous supervision or leadership experience Experience working in a union environment Familiarity with vehicle testing and proving ground operations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work additional hours, including holidays and weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications Degree in business, management, engineering, or automotive-related field Automotive vehicle repair knowledge Strong leadership skills with focus on employee coaching and development Experience using data analysis to support decision-making What Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future HTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
