Job Description

Subsidiary OmniSource Overview We are looking for a professional, experienced Marketing Manager to join our team! A Marketing Manager develops and manages marketing strategies that promote recycling services, strengthen relationships with industrial and commercial clients, and support business growth. Responsibilities Facilitate, develop, evaluate, and track training for employee growth and development. Manage and coordinate divisional marketing personnel. Review and analyze weights and margins on all in-bound materials. Participate in the development and implementation of long term, short term, and annual goals. Review and analyze margins for spot buying and new account opportunities. Plan, organize and host customer outings and events. Coordinate monthly retail pricing strategy and scrap inventory process. Develop and maintain monthly pricing for non-formula industrial accounts. Review, evaluate and respond to customer bids. Coordinate monthly sales reporting through Commercial Marketing group. Track and manage performance metrics set for the divisional marketing function. Support internal and external customers, resolving issues that arise. Retain and maintain profitable accounts within established pricing guidelines. All other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, finance, and transportation. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Ability to generate and close deals. Flexible schedule, as travel is required. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and JD Edwards. College degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
