Onsite Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm What You'll Do Monitor and improve product and process quality performance. Investigate customer complaints, internal quality concerns, and non-conformance issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction. Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions. Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and management teams to improve manufacturing processes. Conduct internal audits and assist with external customer or certification audits. Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives. Assist in developing process controls and standard operating procedures. Participate in new product or process development activities to ensure quality standards are met. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience using Root Cause Analysis tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or FMEA. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Why Join American & Efird?
